I'm wondering if anyone sees value in a blender workgroup?

We could meet in-world on a regular basis, work through some things collectively and have show and tell each time, maybe have a guest instructor once in a while...

The overarching focus would be using blender in the sine.space context.

    What do you guys think?

I really like this idea. My blender skills are sub-par at best.

Depending on when meetings were, I'd be up for this too, I think.

I'm fairly flexible and on CST - though earlier than 9 pm is generally good for me. My night owl days are long gone.

Starting to look like maybe 11:00am is a good time.

I'm thinking an hour of semi-formal presentation followed by workshop time as long as anyone wants to stick around afterwords.

If y'all have things you'd like to see, suggestions, criticisms, etc., I really visualize this as a collective effort by a group of interested peers, so speak up :D

Concerning venue: I'm putting together a region dedicated to the cause. It will likely be useful for general presentation/demo/education purposes as well as a dedicated place for the blender group, and I would encourage such alternate uses.

Concerning spawning permissions and such, it will be much like a sandbox with 'anyone can spawn' perms.
